Today it became official that our kids can buckle and unbuckle themselves or each other. Sam still cannot unbuckle or buckle himself in but this doesn't matter because Charlie, Kaylee and Jake are so happy to do this for him.
I put this photo and status on my Facebook page today and was surprised that everyone validated me in this being a big deal. It really is, it just makes the thought and the actual process of taking the kids out and about with me so much easier. I can even just sit in the car and take a few minutes to myself while they buckle and unbuckle themselves. I might even get to sip some coffee for a few minutes before getting on the road. This is going to be nice!!

ReplyDeleteHeather I'm sure you are, but it is still not all roses because they still fight over who sits where and I still have to bribe them at times to buckle Sam in for me!
